2020- 2021 NW FFA Goals
This year our club has set many goals: as a club and individually. Our first and foremost goal is to efficiently have fun through developing leadership skills. We want all of our club members to not gain extra stress or frustration from our club but rather, be able to get all that needs to be done, completed. And we want to have fun doing it. FFA brings out the responsibility a student can bring to the table along with their talents and abilities in which they would like to demonstrate themselves. Our next goal for this year is better communication. We would like better communication between FFA Members and better communication between the club and the parents. In order to achieve this goal, this newsletter has been created and we will be sending out monthly, if not more, newsletters and updating our facebook page which is "NorthWood High School FFA". Also, everyone is able to join our Remind texts as well. Just text @g4c3ka to 81010.
The Point System
This year we have a point system and with this point system comes some benefits. For instance, the more your student attends events the more activities your students will have the chance to go to activities that will be mostly paid for. Some activities that they will have the chance to go to is State and National Convention. BTW: We have a blast at National Convention.

Helping with Polk's Auctions (fundraiser)
Students leave during the school day, or wait till after school and travel by bus, to head to Polk's Auction in on the corner of US 6 and SR 15. They will volunteer with whatever needs done. There will be three auctions that the FFA will help with the "Labor Day Weekend Collector Tractor Toy, Literature & Memorabilia Auction", the "Late Model AG & Construction Equipment Auction", and the "Spring Collector Tractor, Toy, Literature & Memorabilia Auction". This Year we will be helping with the toy auction in the fall, and work the marker boards at all three. We can fill you in later with more instructions if you are coming to do marker boards.

Activities Through Summer
Here we are, yet again, ready to launch another school year. We help set up, maintain, and tear down the Young McDonald Farm at the Elkhart Co Fair. If interested in helping with that for next year, just let any of us officers know and we'll hook you up with those baby animals.
